Before arrival
Online check-in reminder
Two days before arrival, if the guest hasn't completed the online check-in yet.
Fields in curly braces, like {name} or {arrival}, are filled in automatically by Guest in touch with the booking details. Fields in square brackets, like [Wi-Fi password], you write once yourself.
Friendly
Hi {name}! Just one step left before you arrive: the online check-in, which takes two minutes. You'll find it here 👉 {checkin_link}
That way, when you arrive we hand you the keys and your holiday starts right away!
Formal
Dear {name},
please note that we are required by law to register the identity documents of all guests. To speed up your arrival, we kindly ask you to complete the online check-in at this link: {checkin_link}
Thank you, {host}
Tips
- Explain why: knowing it's a legal requirement is more convincing than a simple "please".
- Mention that it only takes a few minutes: that's the main objection.
- If they don't reply, a second, shorter reminder the day before is usually enough.
With Guest in touch
The check-in link comes from your PMS and also appears as a button on the guest's stay page, at the right moment.
